Should all countries ban private ownership of guns?
どの国も銃の所有を禁止すべきか
There have been a lot of debates or discussions whether we should ban private ownership of guns all over the world or not. Personally I agree with that all countries should ban private ownership of guns. I have some points to make.
My first point is that banning private gun ownership can contribute to decreasing crime rates and the number of victims. Guns are instruments of violence and massacre. If no citizens are allowed to own guns, we will not see any more tragedy. Furthermore, guns sometimes would bring about unintentionally accidents. I've read some articles that small kids had killed someone by guns mistakenly.
My second point is that it will prevent people from committing suicide. Especially in the US, there are a lot of people who kill by themselves by using guns kept at their homes. It leads them to committing suicide more easily and quickly than other ways without second thought.
In conclusion, for these reasons I mentioned, decreasing crime rates and preventing from committing suicide, I strongly believe that all countries should ban private ownership of guns so that we can promote a safer and more stable world.
